Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MIRRA ("the Service"), operated by Dekina Beauty Limited ("Dekina Beauty", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using MIRRA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MIRRA is an AI-powered skin intelligence platform that analyses facial photographs to generate personalised skin reports, Dekina product recommendations, and skin forecasts. MIRRA is a tool to support your skincare decisions — it is not a medical device, dermatological diagnosis tool, or substitute for professional medical advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use MIRRA. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should obtain parental or guardian consent before using the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@dekinabeauty.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create accounts for others without their consent, use false information, or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

4. Subscriptions and payments

MIRRA offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (MIRRA Clarity and MIRRA Ritual). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Paystack.

• Subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each billing period
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
• Plan features are as described on the Pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit photographs of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent
• Use MIRRA for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce the MIRRA AI system
• Use automated tools to access, scrape, or interact with the Service
• Submit images that contain illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Misrepresent scan results or use MIRRA data to mislead others

6. AI and medical disclaimer

MIRRA is not a medical device. The skin analysis, scores, and recommendations provided by MIRRA are for informational and skincare guidance purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

MIRRA's AI analyses are generated by machine learning models and may not be accurate in all cases. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional for medical skin conditions.

Dekina Beauty is not liable for any harm arising from reliance on MIRRA's analysis results.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and AI models within MIRRA are the intellectual property of Dekina Beauty Limited or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the photographs you submit. By submitting images, you grant Dekina Beauty a limited licence to process them for the purpose of generating your skin report.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Dekina Beauty's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of MIRRA is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MIRRA.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Upon termination, your subscription (if any) will be cancelled and local data will remain on your device until you clear it.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on MIRRA. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
